Dear All,
Our SSWPA Annual AGM is to be held on Tuesday 8th August 2023 at 7pm provisionally at Cronulla RSL. The link for the conference will be provided the day before.
Nominations
Nominations have been extended for the following positions on the Sutherland Shire Water Polo Association 2023-24 Board & elected positions:
Board
- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- 4x Ordinary Board Directors
Elected positions
Nominations must be in written form and emailed to the Returning Officer, Val Bryant, c/o ro@waterpolo.asn.au at 5:00pm Monday, 1st August 2023 and are to be made by candidates themselves. Nominations can be, but need not be, accompanied by a brief statement or profile of the candidate.
By midday Friday 4th August 2023 the candidates for each position will be announced via email. Elections for each position will be held at the Association’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 8th August 2023 at 7pm sharp. The meeting will also be held via zoom to accommodate any issues with travel restrictions.
Election Fine Print:
- Candidates must nominate themselves.
- Candidates must be members of the Association (i.e. were members in Summer 2022/23).
- A candidate may not be elected to more than one position, but may nominate for any or all of the positions on the Board.
- Candidates will receive confirmation of their nomination via email from the Returning Officer.
- Each nomination must be seconded by a member of the Association at the AGM.
- Candidate profiles, where submitted, will be circulated at the AGM.
